Led by Jenna Schebell, a former Admissions Director and High School Director of College Counseling with more than 20 years of experience, The Navigator Network helps families cut through the noise, understand what really matters, and make informed decisions every step of the way.

Our application review services are designed for students who are navigating the application process independently but want an expert second set of eyes before submitting. A member of The College Navigators team will review your work and provide detailed, actionable feedback to help strengthen your application while ensuring your voice and story remain your own.
Choose from a comprehensive review of your full application or targeted reviews of individual components, including your activities section, personal statement, or supplemental essays.
Reviews include two rounds of feedback and a 48–72 hour turnaround.

1:1 College Counseling
Your Admissions Partner Throughout the College Application Process
Our 1:1 College Counseling provides personalized guidance for students who want an experienced advisor beside them throughout the college application process. Beginning in the second half of junior year, we'll work together to build a thoughtful college list and application strategy, develop your essays, and navigate each step of the process with individualized support.
Different levels of support are available based on the complexity of your college list, supplemental writing, and the amount of one-on-one guidance you need.
Best for students who:
Are motivated to take an active role in their college application process and are looking for a collaborative partnership with an experienced advisor. Students should be prepared to complete work independently between meetings, stay engaged with their application timeline, and take ownership of the process.

- Create timeline for applications, essays and supplemental questions
- Strategic planning for Early Action, Early Decision, and other deadlines
- Advisement and guidance on the Common Application
- Essay and short-answer brainstorming, development, and editing
- Feedback and content review of essays

Our role is to provide strategy, structure, guidance, and feedback throughout the process. Students remain responsible for completing their own applications, meeting deadlines, scheduling meetings, and following through on work between sessions. We believe the strongest applications are student-driven, and our counselors are here to guide—not manage—the process for them.
Investment begins at $5,000, depending on the level of support selected.
1:1 College ESSAY SUPPORT
Personalized guidance to help you craft a powerful, authentic college essay
Our One-on-One College Essay Support provides dedicated, individualized coaching to help students develop a compelling personal statement and/or standout supplemental essays.
Through targeted one-on-one meetings and thoughtful written feedback, students move from blank page → clear story → polished final draft—while maintaining full ownership of their voice and ideas.
This support is ideal for students who:
- Feel completely stuck and don’t know where to begin
- Have too many ideas but need help finding the strongest story
- Have a rough draft but aren’t sure how to elevate it
- Struggle with structure, clarity, or showing personality in writing
- Want expert feedback and accountability throughout the essay process
What’s Included:
- One-on-one brainstorming to uncover meaningful story ideas
- Development of a core concept, message, and narrative direction
- Creation of a clear structure and detailed outline
- Targeted coaching through the drafting process
- Two to four rounds of personalized revision feedback
- Strategic support for personal statements and/or supplemental essays
- Guidance that strengthens authentic voice, reflection, and impact
Students who would benefit from additional meetings, expanded supplemental essay guidance, or continued revisions are always welcome to schedule extra sessions or reviews as needed.
Investment typically ranges from $900–$1,700, depending on the scope of support needed.

We offer a quick, 48-72 hour turnaround providing detailed notes and revisions on your essays.
How does this work?
- Once you have finalized your essay &/or supplement questions, register and pay for the review package that best suits your needs.
- The best format to share your essays &/or supplementals is through a google doc. You will receive detailed instructions once you have submitted payment for review.
- Expect to receive detailed written feedback within 48-72 hours.
1:1 MINI STRATEGY SESSIONS (OPEN TO ALL GRADES)
Focused Guidance for a Specific Question or Decision
Our 30-minute Mini Strategy Sessions offer personalized guidance for students and families who have a specific college planning or admissions question but don't need ongoing one-on-one support.
Sessions are available for students in all grades and can cover topics such as course planning, extracurricular involvement, testing strategy, college lists, application questions, and other decisions along the way.
Meet with a member of The College Navigators team for focused, individualized guidance based on where you are in the process.

A college counselor is your personal expert who helps with the holistic process of college admissions. The counselor is the go-to person for all your college needs: mapping out high school curriculum, college search and visiting planning, application process, essay and resume development, and support for both the student and their family.
Having a college counselor throughout high school offers you a consistent source of expert advice, guidance, and support that empowers you to make informed decisions, set goals, and ultimately position yourself for success in both your immediate and long-term educational journey.
The sooner the better - but it's also never too late! Depending when you begin working with us, we will plan your higher educational journey accordingly. If you are in 9th or 10th grade we will have more time to map out your 4-year academic plan and build extracurricular accomplishments. If you are in 11th or 12th grade the focus will shift more towards college exploration and application completion. Ultimately, the best time is when the student understands his or her goals and is ready to take ownership of the process; which for most usually happens sometime during junior year of high school.
No one can ethically offer this guarantee. However, we can work with your student to strategically create their college list and shape their activities and application to give them their very best chance. Our goal is to find the best fit school for your student so that they thrive and stay for four years as the transfer process can be both costly and timely.
As former school counselors, we are intimately familiar with the volume of students that school counselors work with, as well as the various roles that extend beyond college counseling and occur on a daily basis. This takes away from the individualized attention needed, particularly in this highly competitive admission environment. By being selective with the number of students we work with, we can offer personal attention and individualized assistance with every aspect of the college admission process.
Yes, in fact, all meetings will be conducted via Zoom as it is most efficient for both the student and counselor. This also allows our counselors to work with students from all over the U.S.
